Platinum Islands Express Insurance Policies

At Platinum Islands Express we offer several different coverage levels to match the value of your items. Platinum Islands offers four tiers of protection, each designed to give you clarity, transparency, and peace of mind. A copy of purchased items receipt is required at time of insurance coverage purchase and can be submitted via email. All shipments exceeding $1000.00 in value would require additional insurance coverage. (Example – $1500.00 value can purchase Platinum and Gold coverages)

Up to $75 USD Coverage. Automatically applied if no coverage is chosen.

Up to $160 USD Coverage. Ideal for medium-value shipments.

Gold

ENHANCED

Enhanced

$25 USD

Up to $400 USD Coverage. Perfect for higher-value luxury items.

Platinum

PREMIUM

Premium Coverage

$60 USD

Up to $1,000 USD Coverage. Maximum protection available for global logistics.

To activate coverage, insurance must be paid in full before your package is in-transit to the Final Destination.

  1. A declared value is required for each item. If no documentation is provided, a default value of $75.00 USD applies.
  2. Declared values must be truthful; false declarations void coverage.
  3. All shipments exceeding $1000.00, in value would require additional insurance coverage.
Primary Coverage

Once shipment is intransit, the Final Delivery Partner's insurance becomes primary.

Secondary Coverage

Platinum Islands Express insurance applies ONLY after the partner's primary coverage is fully exhausted.

Glass Coverage

Televisions will be inspected twice and warehouse (on delivery & before shipment) and once upon arrival at destination to ensure no damage liability. Unprotected or poorly secures fragile items will not be covered and shipped at the customers.

Tracking Requirements

  • Max three (3) tracking numbers per insurance purchase.
  • Numbers must be linked to your registered account.
  • Only numbers declared at time of purchase are covered.
